These Terms govern the use of the Tippale platform ("the Service") operated by Tippale.com. Account users expressly accept these Terms during registration completion or invitation acceptance. An authorised business representative separately accepts the business agreement and DPA during setup; invited employees do not thereby become subscription customers or enter into a DPA for their employer. The Service is intended for businesses (B2B); consumers are not the target audience.
Tippale is a management platform for hospitality businesses. Depending on the plan, it includes:
The business owner creates the account and may invite managers and employees. Owners and managers are responsible for keeping team data, roles and permissions accurate and for removing people who leave the business. Every user must keep their credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
New businesses receive full access for a non-renewing 14-day trial. If no paid plan is purchased, access is locked when the trial ends; stored data remains available after a plan is activated.
The current Core, Pro and Complete plans, optional add-ons, billing period, net price and VAT are shown before purchase and become part of the order.
Payments are processed by Base44 Payments. Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the chosen billing period and can be cancelled at any time with effect from the end of the current period. Price changes are announced at least 30 days in advance and do not affect periods already paid for.
Tippale supports but does not replace your obligations as an employer and business owner. You remain responsible for:
Tippale enables business owners to prepare and manage payroll and accounting independently, without requiring a tax adviser. Payroll, tax and social-security calculations are based on statutory parameters that we maintain with due care, but they remain computational aids and do not constitute tax or legal advice. Tippale currently does not transmit official filings directly to authorities; you may review and submit the generated information or exports yourself, or appoint a tax adviser to do so. You remain responsible for checking entries, calculation results and filings before they are used or submitted; statutory liability remains unaffected.
AI functions (schedule generation, insights, assistants, document extraction) produce suggestions that must be reviewed by a person before being applied. Results may be incomplete or incorrect. AI features are only available on plans that include them and may use third-party AI models via our hosting provider; processing is governed by the applicable data-processing agreements and provider settings.
Integrations with POS systems, Wix, delivery platforms and payment providers are subject to the respective provider's terms. You are responsible for the credentials you enter and for the permission to connect those systems. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party data.
For your employees' data, your business is the controller and Tippale acts as processor under a Data Processing Agreement (Art. 28 GDPR), which forms part of these Terms. Details are set out in our Privacy Policy and DPA.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows are announced where possible. We may develop, change or discontinue features; material reductions in scope are communicated in advance.
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual duties, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Liability for lost profits, indirect damage and data loss that could have been avoided by reasonable backups is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
Either party may terminate at any time with effect from the end of the paid period; free accounts may be closed at any time. We may suspend accounts in case of material breaches or payment default. Export your data while access is active. After access is locked or the contract ends, request return or deletion through the contact listed below; self-service exports are not available while locked. The employer remains responsible for statutory record retention.
We may amend these Terms for a legitimate reason, such as a change in law or the Service. Changes are announced at least 30 days in advance. Changes affecting essential contractual obligations require express acceptance; if you do not accept them, you may terminate before they take effect.
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Tippale.com.
